Ruled Surfaces
About
This study explores the modularity of form, ruled surfaces both in CAD and in physical practice with foam blocks, as well as exploration in 3D representation of form in architectural drawings. We started the project by individually cutting eight 3.5" cubes with ruled surfaces in Rhino. We then created the physical cubes by using Bristol sleeves and a hot wire cutter. We later assembled the eight cubes together into one cube and created drawings of the result.
